During the registration process you will be asked to list any allergies or other medical conditions our Coaches should be aware of. These notes will appear on the Coaches roster when the participant checks in for camp. If you'd like to share additional information with the Coach, you may do so during check-in on the first day of camp or you can speak with our team in the office anytime.
EpiPen Policy
If your participant will be bringing an EpiPen to camp, please make a note of that during registration as well as let the Coach on the beach know when you drop your participant off. If you will be requesting the Coach hold onto the EpiPen during camp, we will require you to sign our EpiPen release form as BeachSports and our Coaches are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged EpiPen's.
Our Coaches are not legally allowed, and are not professionally trained, to administer an EpiPen. However, our Head Coaches receive unofficial training prior to each season and are able to assist the camper in administering their own EpiPen. Additionally, in the event the use of an EpiPen is necessary, the participant will likely be rushed to the LA County Lifeguard on duty to administer the EpiPen.
