All of our instructors are First-Aid and CPR Certified and all of our BeachSports locations are setup within 50ft of a staffed LA County Lifeguard station. Nearly every injury that occurs at camp is treated by the LA County Lifeguard on duty. Minor scrapes may be treated by our Head Coach on site with our first-aid kit.
All injuries are recorded on an accident report by the Head Coach and the coach who witnessed the injury. This accident report is then given to the parent/guardian when their participant is picked up after camp. In the case of an injury of more serious nature, the Head Coach will call the parent/guardian and emergency contact listed on the participants account.
PCH SKATE CAMP
All of our Skate Coaches are First-Aid and CPR Certified. For injuries that occur at one of our Skate Camps, the Head Coach will assess the injury and treat it with the tools in our First-Aid kit on-site. Depending on the scope of the injury, the Head Coach may call the parent/guardian and the emergency contact listed on the participants account. In the event of serious injury, the Head Coach will call 911 and the parent. An accident report is filled out for all injuries and given to the parent/guardian at the end of camp during pick-up.
